Halloween House

Most of the gingerbread houses I make are for Christmas, but once in a while, I try them for other seasons. It’s fun to move beyond the cozy cottage, or candy covered bungalow.

I experimented more with fondant for covering the house, and royal icing for the iron work. Normally I don’t do a lot of in royal icing as my hands can be shakey, but for a Halloween house, that makes it even better.
