This was a practice cake – I was feeling the need to try something. I saw these cookies in the grocery store and thought they would be a simple way to cover a cake. I might use them in the future too for gingerbread houses as they are just perfect out of the package.
I went with some very bright coloured sugar and added a isomalt and fondant cameo.
